Howard Lewis & Petersen, P.C. Shareholder Jacob S. Gunter was recently promoted to Major in the United States Army Reserve. Back dated to February 2017.

MAJ Gunter has nine plus years of experience on active duty, the Utah Army National Guard and the United States Army Reserve. He commissioned in October 2008 as a 1LT.
The majority of MAJ Gunter’s experience was as the Battalion Command Judge Advocate for the 1/19 Specials Forces (Airborne). During his tenure there he mobilized five times with one Operation Enduring Freedom tour in 2010. The remainder of MAJ Gunter’s military experience was been in administrative law.
