Today I received a voicemail from a company called “Cutthroat Insurance Adjusters.” Of course, wanting more information.
I can’t believe someone named their insurance adjusting company “Cutthroat.” Are they located in the mountains where these wonderful fish roam?
Also, whenever you run into an independent claims adjuster service, expect way slower service. Luckily most insurance carriers have in-house adjusters.
When dealing with a private claims adjuster service, often you will just have to sue them to get their attention.  Otherwise your claim will languish.  Maybe this is not true for all of them, but at least the ones I have dealt with.
